A successful reshoot of my bread task for the folklore project. I brought more props into the image such as the mug and tea pot in the background to create a narrative as if the scene is set in the kitchen. what I like about this photograph is the texture on the bread, you can see small details such as the flour and the bread crumbs. unfortunately, there is glare from the speed lights used on the prop behind the bread which can be quite distracting. my next task I am setting myself is to shoot this scene one final time but using natural light only, this would give the right ambiance to the photograph, stop the image from looking flat and avoid glare, making the image natural like the style of imagery I am aiming for in this project. I will use a tripod and experiment with longer exposure, using reflectors to take as much control of the lighting as I can.
