currently working on the extended essay for my final year in which I look at how photographers use their images in a manipulating way to deliver their opinions to their audiences. looking at the covers for Newsweek and Time Magazine for the OJ Simpson Trial, we can clearly see they are the same photograph but with a different outcome in style. These two versions of the same photograph give off two completely different sets of emotions even though they are the same image; this is due to the tone and brightness of the photograph being altered. Looking at the two juxtapose is an example of artists using their skills to make their voice heard through a photograph; two completely different sets of opinions, the same image.
